NA certificate now available online

Gandhinagar, August 23, 2018. The Gujarat Government, in a major revenue land reform, has introduced online system for getting non-agriculture (NA) certificate.
GNN learns Gujarat’s revenue department has issued a government resolution (GR) in this regard. The government has also made it mandatory to apply for NA certification online and has put onus on district officials to check the land records online, instead of demanding them from the applicants.
According to officials, earlier applications were taking two-three years to get the final NA approval. The move has come as a major relief for the industry, real estate and other sectors and even for non-agriculture purpose, as the applicants will not be required to get documents verified by multiple departments.
