Admissions to medical courses now complete

Ahmedabad, August 23. The Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) has announced that the admission to medical courses is now complete with admissions ending at 88.81 percentile and the merit number of the last student standing at 4,211. The choice filling for dental, ayurveda, homeopathy and naturopathy began from Wednesday. Students can fill their choices based on the score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
GNN learns the allocation of seats for the first round of admission will be on August 27. Students can register their choices between August 22 and 25. Of the 27 ayurveda colleges, only nine have got permission, while in homeopathy of the 33 colleges only 11 have been given approval by the respective councils.
As permission for 40 colleges is yet to be received only those colleges where permission is received are included for admission.
